Date of "birth": 500 BC
Infant demons usually gain energy from the human souls in Hell and so it's the same case when they grow up. They store this energy in their horns.
But since incubi drain life energy directly from living humans, the infants have special nodules connected by threads between their horns - until they can live on their own - which are similar to human nerves.
If these get damaged, the little incubus or succubus infant is most likely to die. Incubi are considered grown-ups after they lose their threads.
Adult demons regularly settle their disagreements through duels and even the infants fight a lot to find their places in the hierarchy. These fights are rarely fatal, but Xavier's young stubbornness brings him to a fight with a high ranking demon, called Azeroth, which turns out really bad for the young incubus. He survives the duel, but as a punishment Azeroth sentences him to spend 300 years in the Pit of Pain.
Xavier was around 1400 years old at that time (which corresponds to 14 years in human life).
When he gets out from the Pit after 300 years, the black markings ( Lilith's tears) appear on his face, which are eternal reminders and a brand of shame among the creatures of Hell.
After he recovers, he tends to wonder more to the human world, but his curiosity leads him into a trap. A strong vampire sorceress tricks him and forces him to enter into a contract and be her servant in the human world.
This turns out quite well for the youngster; he travels with the circus ran by the vampire and during this time, he acquires useful experiences of the human world.
After around a hundred years, the vampire releases him under the contract and he returns to Hell after a long time.
Xavier spends quite a lot of time in the human world to get to know humans better even after that.
He loses his threads around the age of 2000 and he is pushed to live his own way and drain energy from humans directly for the first time.
Incubi tends to sneak in young woman's rooms while they are sleeping, steal a few amount of time from their life ( 1 day taken from a human's life means 1 year added to an incubus's life) and disappear in the morning.
At one time when Xavier enters to a young maiden's room, before he drains energy from her, he realizes something: the girl doesn't have much time left. This surprises the young incubus, since he hasn't met anyone on his energy draining trips before who suffers from a fatal disease.
He comes up every night after that to watch the girl in her sleep. One time, the young maiden awakes from her sleep and sees the incubus. Xavier could erase her memories and run away, but he decides to stay and they spend the night telling tales of each other's life. He gets to like the girl and promises to visit her every night from now on.
Unfortunately a short time after that, the young girl passes away. Xavier visits her grave and decides never to trust the fragile life of a human being anymore.
After that, Xavier wonders up to the human world only when he needs to drain energy, but he never steals more than one day from anyone.
